I saw my friend Shawn review this place and thought I needed to stop in. I got there a bit before closing but I felt immediately at home when I was greeted by Ken. I saw a menu that made it difficult to choose from because of so many great options. I got the Korean fried chicken and Beef Bulgogi. I struck up a great conversation with Ken and Preston about Dak. Extremely great people. When I got the food and got it home I knew immediately I had made the right decision! Chicken was a bit spicy(bonus) and mild as I got a mixture. Beef Bulgogi was best I've had yet. Ken told me that next time I needed to dine in and I will definitely try to bring more people in to experience this place! My only regret is that I'm limited to 5 stars because I would have given them more! Only thing I ask is that everyone leaves me something to eat there lol. Definitely 👍😁 worth every penny.

Most Koreans I know who are living in the U.S. miss their Kyochon fried chicken crazily. And this is quite close to that. I’m impressed! I like that it comes with pickles too. Pretty athentic and I can feel that the chicken is pretty fresh and good quality. No funky smell or texture! Only thing I wish were a bit different is the sauce. I wish the spicy one was spicier and sweeter and less salty. It felt really savory while I couldn’t feel much spice. And for Soy sauce one, I wish it was slightly less salty and sweeter/more garlicky. Other than that, amazing! 100% recommend!

I do not recommend this place at all. It was a complete waste of money. If you don’t want to regret spending your money, don’t go. This was my first time eating here. I came because the reviews were so positive, and I was really looking forward to trying the ramen. Unfortunately, it was one of the worst bowls of ramen I’ve ever had. When the ramen arrived, it wasn’t even hot—there wasn’t any steam coming from it. The noodles were undercooked, hard, and had a raw, floury taste. The broth was extremely salty, making it almost impossible to enjoy. I told the waitress about the problems, but her response was basically, “Oh, okay. Your total is ___.” There was no apology and no attempt to address the issue. Please be careful when relying on online reviews. My experience was completely different from what the ratings suggested.

I have heard people raving about this place for a long time and well today was the day we went to see what the hype was all about. First the server was on point and kept her composure with my children’s 100 questions and she was tipped 30% for that alone lol. Now onto the food, the bulgogi fries as an app were so damn good, the fries were crispy not soggy like you get with most covered fry dishes. The chicken katsu was tender and packed with flavor. Now the wings I had high hopes for the soy garlic and well they DID NOT disappoint and had that signature Korean fried chicken crunch like you get with authentic Korean fried chicken. The restaurant is clean, quiet and family friendly.. highly recommend this place to anyone

It really was Dak good! 😋 The bibimbop were very filling but their soy garlic spicy wings and drumsticks were the bomb! I don’t know what they were feeding those chickens but the drumsticks were huge! Will definitely go back next time I am in Kalamazoo again.
